Memory reminds me of a stray dog which chews up the bone that time is. That might explain its razor-sharp teeth; biting off chunks of days and grinding mouthfuls of years. Time lies there shattered, its pieces dissolved – a tale unfolding spikes my goneness, compelling me to forget but not let go.

Time is a wild horse, kicked into a full gallop. To ride this fierce horse means staring at the racing scenery as though you were blind - or until your eyes start to burn. The gates to the enchanted garden open to reveal its austere adornment in silence and desolation. While in waiting within the boundaries of an overwhelming reality, a brave new world awakens…
Achilles Nasios is a photographer, video-artist and an art teacher. He was born in Greece, studied in Prague, Berlin, Athens and Stockholm. Worked as a lecturer of photography at the Greek University. He lives and works in Sweden.
